Too often tights are overbuilt, designed for the very worst of conditions where survival is all that matters. The CHPT3 tight is a little lighter and designed to work on 7°-16° days where, let's be honest, some of the best riding can be done.
We have created a tight that works in reverse to shorts and leg warmers. Our version has a top half that is thermal and a lower part that is lycra, the seam that joins the two swoops down behind the knee giving maximum protection and comfort. This is the first tight ever to succeed in replacing shorts and leg warmers while doing a better job.
CHPT3 Bibtights 1.13 by David Millar; The CHPT3 Bibtights are a staple item of every cyclist's winter wardrobe. Sometimes we have no choice but to venture out when it's cold or wet, or worse, when it's cold and wet. These Bibtights are perfect for winter base rides and feature the same high-performance materials as are in use across the CHPT3 collection.
The main body of the Bibtights is constructed from the same Castelli Thermo ex high-loft eece as is used on our 1.91 + 1.92 Arm/Leg Warmers. This is combined on the lower legs with the same Lycra used in our 1.11 Shorts to create the perfect combination for warmth and performance.
We use the same Avatar hydrophilic material for the back area to allow maximum breathability and Castelli's Progetto X2 Air seat pad for maximum comfort.
